Building Financial Skills for Middle and High School Students

The Future Founders & Funders Initiative equips students with the knowledge, habits, and confidence they need to manage money, plan for the future, and begin building financial freedom.

Each workshop is interactive, practical, and age-appropriate, using real-world examples to help students apply financial concepts to their everyday lives.

Workshop Format

  • Duration: 45–90 minutes per session

  • Delivery: Virtual or in-person

  • Structure: One-time workshops or multi-part series

  • Method: Interactive exercises, group discussions, and real-world examples

Grades 6–8

Foundations of Money & Smart Habits

This program introduces core money concepts while building healthy financial behaviors early.
 
  • Money Mindset & Goal Setting
    Understanding the value of money and setting short- and long-term goals

  • Budgeting & Cash Flow Management
    Tracking spending and understanding income versus expenses

  • Banking Basics & Digital Tools
    Introduction to bank accounts, debit cards, and digital payment methods

    Learning what credit is and how to borrow responsibly

  • Saving Strategies
    Building consistent saving habits

  • Smart Spending & Avoiding Debt
    Making thoughtful spending decisions and avoiding unnecessary debt

  • Entrepreneurship & Side Hustles
    Exploring creative ways to earn income and manage money

Grades 9–12 : Advanced Financial Skills & Planning

This program deepens financial knowledge and prepares students for post-graduation independence.
