About The Aya Collective
Empowering Individuals and Communities to Achieve Financial Freedom
The Aya Collective was founded to equip students, young adults, working professionals, and community members with the financial knowledge and confidence they need to thrive.
Our approach is practical, interactive, and inclusive, meeting learners where they are and helping them build real-world money skills that last a lifetime. We believe financial literacy is not just about numbers—it’s about empowerment, opportunity, and long-term security.

Delia A. Awusi,
Our Founder’s Story
Delia Awusi, MBA, an undergraduate degree holder in Finance and a MBA is also a Ramsey Solutions trained Master Financial Coach, recognized early in her career that traditional finance education often leaves out the most important lessons - how to manage personal finances, plan for the future, and achieve financial independence.

While studying corporate finance, Delia learned how to analyze balance sheets and financial statements but not how to budget, save, invest, or navigate everyday financial decisions.

Her perspective deepened while serving as a Director at an organization supporting thousands of entrepreneurs. There, she saw firsthand how personal financial literacy directly impacts business success and the lives of the people behind it. From managing cash flow to understanding credit, savings, and long-term planning, Delia observed that financial empowerment at the personal level is the foundation for entrepreneurship, economic mobility, and financial security.

Inspired by this insight, Delia founded The Aya Collective to bring hands-on, practical financial literacy workshops to students, young adults and working professionals - bridging the gap between financial theory and real-life application.
